The deadline of full paper submission in AFC-10 where abstract has been already accepted is extended to February 10th, 2008 according to many people's request.
You must submit the full paper by accessing to AFC-10 web site http://www.afc2008-jfs.org/ .
Please submit the full paper as soon as possible, because we can expect that the full paper submission is crowded near deadline.

If one of authors did not pay registration fee until December 31, 2007
You must immediately pay now. For authors who have forgot paying registration fee until now, we will allow as a paper which can be presented in AFC 2008, if one of authors at least per one paper will pay registration fee until February 15th, 2008 at latest. If you do not pay the registration fee by that time, your full paper will not be published in Proceedings and you can not present paper in conference.
This is final announcement to present paper in Conference of AFC-2008.

If you would like to participate in AFC 2008 and have the opportunity to present your work at the large gathering of the global foundry engineering community, we encourage you to submit the abstract(s) and then full paper(s) of your technical topics following the schedule described bellow:

All papers must be written in English, and be composed of the original work.
All full paper(s) submitted until January 31, 2008 is included in CD-Proceedings in case that first author or one of author accepted abstract payed registration fee until December 31, 2007.
The length of the paper for AFC 2008 is limited to a maximum of 6 pages (in double column format), including figures, tables and references. Paper format of final paper is the followings. Language is English, Character is Times roman with 10 point, style is two column, 6 pages in A4 Size including Paper Title, Authors, Affiliation, Keywords, Abstract, Main body (for example; Introduction , Analysis Method, Results, Consideration and Discussion, Conclusion, Reference,　Appendix), Figures and Tables.

	Prospective authors should submit full paper(s) by January 31, 2008
	Abstract(s) must be replaced for camera ready by January 31, 2008 , if the abstract(s) are required to revise from AFC-10 program committee.
	Submission of full paper(s) must be done through the following Multi Entry System.
	Submission of full paper(s) will start after November 30, 2007 announcement of acceptance or rejection of abstracts.

Final submitted papers that exceed the limit of 6 pages will incur an over-length page charge rate of 6000yen per page. The extended page limit per paper is 8 pages. Papers exceeding this limit will be automatically rejected.
Furthermore, all full paper(s) submitted until January 31, 2008 will be reviewed by International Journal of Cast Metals Research, and more than excellent 50 papers will be selected and published by the end of 2008.
 
We remark that the author can submit a full paper(s) if abstract submitted until October 31, 2007 is accepted. However, first author or one of author must pay registration fee until December 31, 2007.
The full paper(s) who does not pay registration fee until December 31, 2007 can not be allowed to submit, and not to present a paper in the conference.

The material submitted for presentation at AFC 2008 conference must be the original, not published or being considered elsewhere. All papers accepted for presentation will appear in the CD-Proceedings of the conference and will be distributed to the participants.
Copyright is transferred to the Organizing Committee of the 10th Asia Foundry Congress (AFC-10), effective if and when the article is accepted for CD-ROM Proceedings of the 10th Asian Foundry Congress. Then, if the anthers proceedings paper is selected to International Journal of Cast Metals Research as one of excellent 50 papers, the copyright of the selected papers is transferred to International Journal of Cast Metals Research. On the other hand, if the authors proceedings paper is not selected for publication of International Journal of Cast Metals Research, copyright of the proceedings paper will be returned to authors after 6 months of AFC-10 congress to be held in May 21 - May 23, 2008.
